Get FDA drug alerts the instant they occur

This week, the Health Care Notification Network (HCNN) is sending out an important prescribing alert. When will your physicians receive it?

If your answer is "two weeks," your physician is waiting too long. Alerts traditionally arrive by mail, but the HCNN also fulfills new FDA regulations for electronic delivery of patient safety alerts. The service is free and will only be used for important FDA-required drug alerts – all you need is an e-mail account.

The prescribing alerts sent this week will be distributed in advance of traditional paper-based alerts to approximately 600,000 physicians, targeting the following specialties:
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • General Practice
  • Internal Medicine
  • Neurology

If your practice isn't on the list, you can sign up today.

Unregistered members can enroll to view this alert and other alerts at any time, but will continue to receive paper-based alerts until they are registered for the HCNN.
