Currently we rely on the Administrators of each department to report quarterly the number of CFTE based solely on their interpretation of data available to them. We are concerned that we have inconsistencies internally and when comparing to benchmarks.
- What basis do you use to determine CFTE? (Clinical Sessions/Surgery Sessions Scheduled, reports by the physicians, etc)
- Is time for the following included or excluded from CFTE?
- Vacation,
- Sick,
- CME,
- FMLA,
- Sebatical,
- Other _____________________
- How often are CFTE counts reported? (monthly, quarterly, annually)
