Trusting The Government??

By Edward Grogg posted 03-18-2009 08:30

Putting those two words together..."trust & government" is an oxymoron.  Physicians and administrators that think the federal government is the answer to EHR and/or the overall healthcare system are delusional.  Barack Obama is clueless when it comes to healthcare (and most other things), and as health care professionals we should not get suckered into this socialist trap he is trying to set.  As a health care industry, we should not want nor allow the federal government to get their hands on our industry by taking money from them.  We should be in a totally "hands off" approach when it comes to government meddling and intervention.  We should prevent the corruption, politics, and general incompetence of the federal government from infiltrating our health care system anymore than it already has.  We should should let capitalism and the ingenuity of the professionals in our industry reign supreme.  That is the only way to truly maintain quality and provide the best health care in the world.

Just ask AIG how government intervention has worked out for them?  These bailouts have become a total circus and an embarrassement for our country.  The only good thing to come out of them is that hopefully people will see just how socialism works, and hopefully see the full repugnancy of it.  So you ask if we should trust the government???  Do you really want a bunch of corrupt lawyers running the health care system??  They already run the government, why would we want them running our industry??  Do you want to sell your soul??  My reaction is to tell the Bamster "no thank you", keep your money, we'll do it ourselves!!

Well said-I don't know why more people cannot see this. The only thing that will possible save us is the fact the I do not believe we will ever have a single payor system, only because the trial attorney's would go broke. Greed is stronger than most people realize!
