I just wanted to say a quick "hello" to the FMS-PCS conference attendees. We just finished a last minute review session (to go over introductions, etc.) with the other board members, and I believe that this will be a fantastic conference. The session topics are timely and relevant for all of us.
Boston is amazing. I flew in late yesterday and the weather has been perfect (it's always like this in April here, right???). There are a lot of things to do and see within a short walk of the hotel. Or you can be like Ed Myslik (PCS President-Elect) who ended up walking about 21 miles yesterday - yikes!
I am looking forward to a great preconference session this afternoon with LeeAnn Webster (Financial Management Boot Camp), followed up later with an interesting general session called "How Wal-Mart is Reforming Healthcare" (with keynote speaker Joe Quinn). Then we have an opening session, and then I'm off to the Red Sox/Yankees game at Fenway(!!!).
