To solve the healthcare crisis we need healthier patients. Patients have no incentive to live a healthy lifestyle and business and medince have no incentive to help them live a healthy lifestyle. Medical Device, Pharma, Health Insurance companies all make money as a result of our unhealthy lifestyles. If Government wants to spend less on healthcare offer anyone over the age of 40 year a tax credit if they have a BMI (Body Mass Index) within acceptable guidelines. Tax fast food, sugar, mayo and other like foods, cigarettes, alcohol, etc. Money will change habits. We can't fix healthcare by paying, pharma, hospitals and doctors less money. We have to resolve the demand issue.
