We just selected a new EHR program and contacted our old vendor to terminate the contract. Unfortunately, the contract signed three years ago contained language that included an unspecified price for read-only images of any patient-related data stored in the system (an ASP). The vendor gave us a huge quote for the data and told us that the financial information on the system will not be available. Can anyone offer guidance for this situation?
