I have been looking forward to this conference for months now. There is an outstanding line up of topics and speakers, and the post-reform focus on financial management and payer contracting is compelling.
For me the conference has already paid for itself before the first general session! I went to Nate Moore's presentation on Excel Pivot Tables this afternoon and I had at least 3-4 "a-ha!" moments that will save our department thousands of dollars in labor costs a year that we spend in assembling our monthly reports. (not to mention the improvements that will come with an increased focus on using information to make better decisions as opposed to merely compiling the data)
Thomas Royer is about to speak on the topic of "Adapting to the New Healthcare Market". Should be interesting.
