We have a hospital owned Urgent Care facility. The Medical Director has requested the office be equipped with a defibrillator. Do other Urgent Care facilities have and if so what is the protocol for accepting/treating patients in acute distress. Specific educational and certification requirements for physician and staff responders. Seems there would be a medical legal liability issue as well. Appreciate any thoughts.
