Each spring, MGMA hosts two conferences that drill down into different disciplines of practice management. The first conference is the Medical Practice Excellence: Financial Conference held March 31st to April 2nd in Atlanta. This conference provides the latest best practices on revenue cycle, payor contracting, benchmarking, and more.
The second conference is the Medical Practice Excellence: Operations Conference held May 19st-21st in Austin. This conference brings together medical practice executives who focus on patient access, health IT, staffing and human resources, and more.
We need your expertise to help evaluate and prioritize the topics and abstracts we have received for one or both conferences.
Volunteer Opportunity: TFC22 and TOC 22 Conference Content Planning Team
Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibility will be to evaluate and provide advice and recommendations on educational content for the Medical Practice Excellence: Financial Conference and/or the Operations Conference
Expected Impact and Outcome: Your expert knowledge about financial management and payer contracting will ensure that that the content selected for the conference will help medical practices thrive in the changing healthcare environment.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
- Working knowledge and/or in-depth expertise in financial management, payer contracting or related topics important to physician group practices or,
- Working knowledge and/or in-depth expertise in patient access, practice operations, human resource or related topics important to physician group practices
- Ability to identify educational content that will appeal to the audience to whom the conference is targeted
- Ability to work effectively as part of a volunteer-staff team

Term/Time Commitment/Location: The time commitment for this opportunity is approximately 10 hours over the course of August. Your time will be spent reviewing and rating abstract submissions for the Call for Speakers.
