Key Responsibilities
The ACMPE Certification Commission Nominating Subgroup is charged with providing recommendations for open positions on the ACMPE Certification Commission and Early Careerist Liaison role. These may include:
· ACMPE Certification Commission Chair
· ACMPE Certification Commission Vice Chair
· At large members
· Early Careerist Liaison
The Certification Commission Nominating Subgroup will review candidate applications and select qualified candidates to serve on the ACMPE Certification Commission and Early Careerist Liaison. Your recommendations for incoming Commission members will be presented to the incoming Board Chair for approval.
Expected Impact and Outcome
You will be helping us to identify and select the individuals who will serve in the important and influential role of ACMPE Certification Commission member.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required
· ACMPE Certified Member (CMPE) or Fellow (FACMPE)
· Have served as an ACMPE volunteer (committees, Forum Representatives, essay graders) within the past 3 years
· Expressed interest in volunteering for ACMPE
· Knowledge of MGMA, ACMPE and the industry

Term/Time Commitment/Location
This volunteer commitment will begin End of July 2024 and conclude in September 2024. Over this time, expect to spend 2-3 hours independently reviewing candidate applications, and an additional 1-2 hours on conference calls to discuss candidates and determine recommendations as a group. All work will be completed remotely.
Staff Role
Staff will provide operational support to the Certification Commission Nominating Subgroup, including:
Compilation of lists of eligible and interested members for open positions
Assist in coordinating logistics of conference calls
Responsible for ensuring recommendations are made by deadline
