Bio

Allen Moore provides HealthTech thought leadership. His passion is improving health outcomes using a pragmatic approach; searching for what can be done today with contemporary technology.

Allen formerly led the Verizon Connected Health domains team, where he consulted on projects with the Centers for Disease Control, the Veterans Health Administration, state health agencies, industry household names General Electric, P&G, Honeywell, and others. He has personal ownership in creating five products in the larger Verizon portfolio. Allen holds three U.S. patents. 

In addition to his business acumen, Allen holds a master’s degree in health informatics from the University of Alabama, Birmingham Medical Center, with honors. He recently received his doctorate in health administration from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. To further his pursuit of lifelong learning, Allen has been a mentee of Mr. Ernesto Tacchi, author and DEI leader, George Fisher, President T-Mobile USA, and Colonel Vicki Skinner, executive director of clinical education.

Allen has published in the areas of hospital administration, cyber security, hospitality, security, and telecommunications. He has been an executive speaker to the Clinton Health Initiative, Johns Hopkins, Proctor & Gamble, General Electric, and others. He was instrumental in qualifying 54 HealthTech startups for second round funding.

Allen is a member of his local Exchange Club where he supports the Club’s mission to advocate and fund projects for the prevention of Child Abuse. He continues to mentor youth guided by the ideals he learned on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout by serving as assistant Scoutmaster for his local Boy Scout troop.
